Nice indian restaurant in Bathurst. Food portion was good. We tried tandoori chicken and roti, saffron rice, beef pasanda and mango lassi. Everything was tasty except the beef curry (tasted like butter chicken but with beef). Plentiful parking spaces in front.
Very good restaurant in a small town like Bathurst! I brought my family here for dinner. We had a very good time! Great ambience, a great place to experience Indian culture! Outstanding services from waitresses! Foods to table are fast, and delicious curry! Lamb shanks, and vindaloo are must tries! BYO allowed, corkage $3 per person. Highly recommend!

Solo visit early on Saturday evening, only one other table eating, but several people waiting for take away. Was shown straight to a table and presented with menu, water followed straight away. I order samosas (yum), Bengali beef (spicy), with rice, roti and mixed pickle. I also ordered a very nice glass of Shiraz. I was asked if I wanted everything together, or entrees then main; I asked for entrees and main. The samosas came quickly and were delicious, after the crumbs were removed the main was brought out. Again delicious! A great meal with friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended.
Absolutely loved our experience at Tamarin Indian Restaurant. The food was full of authentic flavour, beautifully cooked, and excellent value for money. We ordered the Chicken Tikka, Punjabi Lemon Chicken, and roti, and every dish was outstanding. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly grilled and juicy, the Punjabi Lemon Chicken had an amazing balance of spices and freshness, and the rotis were soft and fresh. The portions were generous, the service was warm and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. You can really tell the chefs put passion into their food. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Indian food and great service we’ll definitely be coming back again!
One of the best Indian restaurants in Bathurst! As I am from Bangladesh, I had never really explored Indian food before. After moving from Sydney to regional Bathurst, I decided to try their biryani and since that day, I’ve become a regular customer. The food is absolutely amazing, easily 10/10 for taste. My personal favourites are the lamb shanks, Bengali goat curry, mutton biryani, dal makhni, karahi chicken, and the non-veg platter. Every dish is full of flavour and always cooked perfectly. Not only is the food outstanding, but the staff are also incredibly friendly, and the owner’s hospitality is truly exceptional. Honestly, whenever I eat outside, this is the only place I go. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant if you want to experience delicious Indian food in Bathurst. You won’t be disappointed!

WOW!!! The food here is amazingly delicious, the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere had a lovely vibe with beautiful Indian paintings and statues everywhere. Ordered the mango chicken medium heat (should’ve got hot lol), rice, naan, papadums and Rita. Honestly, the best Rita I’ve ever had, I could’ve drunk it 🤣 Would definitely recommend this place for delicious Indian food.
